I was there last year. Couldn't go this year because my club put on a Corvette show as a fund raiser for the National Mill Dog Rescue. We had 5 C1s, 7 C2s, 7 C3s, and 4 C4's. All the rest were 5, 6, & 7s. Seeing less and less of the older Corvettes. Here's some photos.

Thanks for the pictures. Around here the Corvette Shows are dominated by the late models (from C5 and newer) also.

Nice photos for sure!

It seems that every car show that I go to is dominated by C6s and C7s.

Here is what I pulled up to at the last Corvette car show that I went to. I think there were a total of four C3s including mine.

While I'd love to own a later model, I don't quite get the attraction from a "show" perspective of anything newer than the early 90's or even older.
This really struck me, after seeing the one photo from the Colorado show at the Chevy dealer lot (post #3, 5th photo above), where it looks like nothing more than what that dealer has on the lot for current sale! I would have driven right past that lot without even thinking they were having a car show!
That's mainly due - I'm sure - to my untrained eye on what all these owners added to their cars to "trick them out". I know you can up-fit with a jillion high-end / high-cost accessories for drivability and aesthetics.
But I never quite understood the desire to put those on display.
But then again, I'm coming from a different perspective, of restoring an older vehicle to its original(-ish) glory!
I'm sure I'll hear from a lot of late model owners, sharing their pride in ownership. And I don't mean any offense whatsoever. They're all beautiful driving machines, with very impressive technology and designs.
But I don't see a lot of "sweat equity" put into the cars along that C6/C7 row - just plain "equity".
