Default Finally Finished (for now?) - 2 years later (Picture Intensive)

It all started with weatherstripping....

Turned into upper birdcage replacement, windshield, fuel lines, brake lines, body mounts, a paint job, rebuilt steering column, all new steering, and an interior refresh.

Thanks guys! Couldn't have done it without everyone's help on this site! I probably also put some of the vendors kids at least through a couple college courses... it's great they still provide parts for these cars.

Hi A8,
Your car really looks terrific!
It appears you've done some very nice work.
That list is a lot to accomplish in that amount of time!
Regards,
Alan

WOW! I hope my project will look as nice. The time spent really paid off for sure. If I still lived in Roanoke I would ask to come and see it. Definitely a winner Take it to the ZIP show this year.

Awesome! Congratulations on finishing your art project. Or is it a shop project? Or science?

Thanks guys! - Alex66, I learn something everyday. My car has never had one (since I've owned it) - so I've never missed it. Looks like a project to lead off the next list!

The longest weatherstrip replacement you've ever done i'm betting. Your car looks great, and you should definitely consider bringing it up to Zip at their next show.

That's a lot of work in a short period of time. Outstanding results!
