Default Fuel Pump Replacement

I am replacing a leaking fuel pump on my 1968 327 convertible. The fuel pump that is on it has 2 ports (an inlet where the metal line screws in and a metal/rubber fuel feed.) BUT- there is a plugged-off vent line, not being used on the car, that goes back to the tank. Should the new replacement pump accommodate the vent line (needing 3 ports)? I can't find one for this year with three ports. Thanks for your help in advance.

that is not a vent line. that is the return line.

on a 68 327 you only have 2 lines on the fuel pump- IN and OUT. your return line comes off the fuel filter (should be mounted at the front of the pass side valve cover) and goes down to that line on the frame.
