Changing hinge pillar possible?
I am working on a 69' corvette that has been over customized. I want to put a replacement body that I bought on the old frame but I want to use the original VIN because all numbers match. Is it possible to change the left side hinge pillar with the VIN to the other car I'm restoring? All original fiberglass has been over customized. Any advice? Can this be done?

The tag on the hinge pillar is the trim tag, on my 69 it is fastened with pop rivets. Which can be easily drilled out. The vin tag is on the driver side windshield post and should match the your title. T
