No need for high octane fuel in this low level performance engine. They are very low compression motors. The base motor is the same motor that could be in any full size Chevrolet. Burn 87 and you will be fine.

I would try to run non-ethanol fuel, especially if the car will sit for long periods of time. Fuel system repairs can be much more costly. With all the boating, it should be readily available in the Orlando area.
