Installed a hurst shifter, picked up a t- handle and installed, I want to make sure it doesn't have to be flipped before I start putting everything back. Shifter is shown in neutral position in pics. Can anyone confirm it's correct?
Thats a hurst shifter with an original t-handle. Great idea! I have a hurst shifter and may steal your idea. But I bet it will need to be flipped. I had to flip my hurst handle to get it to work. I think it will hit the console when you go into reverse.

Yea I installed the hurst shifter and picked up a stock looking handle to fit.
I was just looking to see if the offset was in the correct location or if it has to be flipped to avoid the console. You think it is wrong as shown?

I think your going to have to flip it. My straight shaft hurst is mounted like yours is and gets real close to the console in reverse. You have to pull it any way to get the lower boot on

I'm sure reverse will not work like it is. So I would flip it. Like RR says you have to pull it for the lower boot anyway. Good Luck!
