a/c won't kick in
it's 1974 chev monte carlo 400 eng. the a/c worked perfect last week i had to move the comp. to put on headers now it won't kick in i know it's full on freon nothing was ever disconected

Not an a/c expert. But, is it possible the electrical connector is loose since you moved the compressor?

how do you know it is full of freon?, try bypassing the low freon switch to see if the compressor will kick on, if it does, low freon, possibly done when moving the compressor around, leaking at the hose connections.
