What type of thread sealant should be used on the water pump bolts?

I use the Permatex liquid thread sealer. Just a drop or two works fine.

Black Permatex high heat resistant Silicone Sealer in the tube...I coat the threads completely to the bolt head. It keeps the bolts from rusting/seizing in the block and keeps antifreeze from seeping out past the threads.
