What is driver quality?

It's like watches. Some like to collect watches, put them away, and only take them out to admire them. Others like to use them for what they were designed for, to be worn and to tell you the time. Driver Quality is like a watch that has been worn and has some Life Experience showing.

A driver is a car that you aren't afraid to drive. You've mitigated or rationalized away the risks to the point that you can actually enjoy the car through the act of driving it. Having a squared away but slightly rough car is one way to do this (especially if it isn't particularly rare). Another way is to have enough IDGAF to let yourself enjoy what you have, and fix or replace it when it breaks.

I like the term "squared away." Sounds every bit as good as " sorted out." After 13 years of blood, sweat and tears, my 10 footer is just about where I want it.
