Default another small mystery part

FYI, Yesterday, I sent a picture of my mystery seat belt part to Corvette Central and their guru didn't recognize it. BUT YOU GUYS DID!

So, since you were so helpful I have another one we can't figure out.

Thanks for all your help. We look up stuff you guys are discussing all the time. Your forum has been invaluable.

Not sure about that part....

Don't fault Corvette Central too much on not knowing the seat belt guide. They don't know that part because its not reproduced and I think its 68-69 only. A little expensive to replace if you had lost yours.

Sorry I can't help with this part.

It may be one of the pieces from a center console repair kit.

actually they sell it for $49 per piece. We found it in the catalogue after you guys told me what it was.

I don't fault CC...it's just that you guys are terrific.

It rivets to the passenger side floor board and is one of the 3 points the triangular splash shield bolts to.

I think we might be talking past each other. Are you talking about that small bracket at the top of this thread or the seat belt retainer?

So you are saying that the triangular piece bolts to those brackets? I need to look at the passenger floor board. I thought I lost one of the brackets because I only have three. But if what you say is right...I only need three, I guess.

I don't know if a 69 is the same as a 66, but that part is a 66 part and probably for other years. The triangular splash pieces are reproduced for a 66 and I believe so are those brackets. The one for the driver side is similar but has two weld nuts on it for the gas pedal to bolt to. Keen Corvette has the reproduction parts.

If you go to Corvette central's website and type in splash pan, you can see a picture of those brackets. They are different than your picture, but very similar. After looking at those pictures I see that maybe I'm mistaken. I was mistaken about the weld nuts on the driver side.

Yeah, all of those splash shields are way big and I don't see any of my smallish brackets. But thanks!!!
