Big Block Valve Covers. Recommendations?
I have a set of "chrome" ebay special valve covers on my 73. They look decent, but per the 4 bolt design on flexible covers means they leak. Not a lot, but some. Looking for a nice set of valve covers, hopefully with a matching air cleaner lid. What do you guys have? Post up your pics!

big blocks have 7 bolts. 4 on bottom and 3 on top. 4 bolts total is small block.

I love bbs,
For 30 plus years i liked the Frankenstein head big mts,
But why should i advertise mt? Lol,
Im into old school so i was happy to score these old cal custom covers cheap, 30.00 shipped
They appeared on all kinds of cars in the day and have the little place for a company to tack their logo,
Mine are no name and i will likely place "Bats" there
Its up to you and what you like best.....

I have known people that thought their 350's were big blocks. These are gen 5-6 truck and marine. Cast aluminum. O-ring gaskets. Add a flat gasket under the o-rings and they clear polylocks. Cheap and easy to find. But purists will not be happy.

Yep, pretty version of mine,
They can be finished many ways, have the little space for a vanity tag and if you hunt around cl and fleabay you might score them less than 50 bucks like i did and drop that 450 into something that makes the car faster or run better or safer,

Thinking about these, but kinda hesitant because the holes for the PCV is in a different place, and the tube that runs to the air cleaner will no longer be able to be used. Ideas?

I found my black ones which could be stripped and polished on ebay under " finned vintage valve covers"
Mine had the weird breathers jb wekded in and im gonna modify and use them because they are odd,
I was always under the impression valve covers like i posted were a trans dapt, cal custom type item that more than one company made,
I always thought ansen was a better name and i have their slotted wheels,
If they built covers like might they are likely nicer,
