Thanks my car is already on there from a previous owner. I e mailed him to change it over to me.
He will ask for a picture of your title, with your name on it.
And tell you that he will not delete the old owner, but the will make you the new owner.
while you guys are here, I just noticed my 1968 Louisiana title has a "5" in the spot where the "S" should be. The car was from the mid-west. Is this a big deal? (Louisiana DMV is a pain when title corrections are involved)

Same thing happened to me earlier this summer when I bought my 68 restomod. Title had a 5 where the "S" should be. The car came out of Pa. with incorrect title. Colorado DMV (which is very strick) had the Colorado Sheriffs dept. do a VIN verification, signed off and made the title correction. I thought this was going to be a huge PITA but it wasn't. Sheriffs dept. said they see this mistake quite often.

The same with my 69 Coupe, I had the seller to change it, not a big deal.
If the title is not correct compared to the vin number in the car, then I can't import :- (
it usually depends who you talk with, some people don't know what to do , so they give you a hasell instead of fixing the problem, IMO, even in Missouri. I just sold over 30 cars without titles from an estate, no problems with them getting new titles, just follow the rules given by the state DMV and state highway patrol's help.
