Anybody have any experience with the chrome inserts on big block hoods? The replacement and NOS don't fit right. Make me wonder if the original were made by a different supplier than NOS.
most require massaging to fit hood irregularities, even original ones.
kept my original had them replated by Houston Chrome and Speed.
excellent Chrome work, not cheap. but done very well.
