I had my original re-cored - lasted 1 year. The new material is very thin,
Dewitt's and Bee-cool are the best. I went with the Dewitt's and their electric fans - runs super cool and does not leak.
It is a direct fit. I had to shim the sway bar 1/8" down with a thin piece of steel under the mounts - took less than 10 minutes to make the shim.

I bought an aftermarket replacement for $200. Didn't realize until I installed that the lower inlet was oval (not round). Hose leaked forever. Going to try to get the inlet repaired or replaced (lower right tank). Otherwise, I will be trying out the new metal/plastic radiator that I ordered. Not liking the idea of plastic tanks married to metal core. But, all of the new vehicles today come with them.

Thats what i was thinking when i bought mine,
I wanted to forget about radiators,
Then in another thread on here not too long ago a fellow said his had a leak in his dewitts and it was about 10 years old,
He was told it might could be fixed but why bother, why not just buy another,
However,
When the radiator went out on the xterra i had to jump fast and buy a stock replacement local, like 125.00,
I asked about any warranty, expecting it had none, he said if it fails or leaks bring it back i hand you a new one no questions asked as long as you own the car, wow, i thought a life time warranty that actually is
So that all changed a lot of the thoughts i had in my mind about high priced stuff, warranties etc etc,
So im curious about the champion, lots of guys love them on here and they cool, but the great price has to come from being an import and likely thinner materials,
What will their longevity be?
Anyone own a champion 10 years? 5 years?
More feedback needed,

As far as I'm concerned, there's no question - Complete Radiators!
http://www.completeradiators.com/
Brilliant service, helpful staff and, next day delivery to you guys in the US! The new rad they supplied for my '78 was a perfect match - and I mean PERFECT. And, it only took about 4 days to get here to France
Cooling was so improved I needed a new thermostat
Funny thing is that so many people rave about DeWitts, but I seem to read quite a few "fitting" issues with them...
