Start the conversation as to where it came off your car. To be rediculous, did it come off your muffler? Obviously not, but narrow it down somewhat please

I dont know if that starter solenoid I sent ya helped, but these 2 should do the trick. Its the Christmas season, just pm me an address and I will get them out for you in tomorrows mail.

John

If you actually worked on a Corvette or took your t tops off you would know exactly where it came from

Do you think I might have been involved in repairs, improvements in a car with that may miles that still drives like a new car and does not use any oil or any other fluid.

Just proving his condescending post wrong.

Francis.

My post was meant to be nothing more than a humorous barb directed at both parties to lighten the mood.

I just asked the OP to give more info as to where the part was found. This is NOT like the t-top hardware of a later Corvette. There are many posts where the OP is asked to give more info.

Then, the other poser made an insulting post.

This is NOT CFOT where the children reign without boundaries.

Admit the posters here are newbies and still are learning.

But to be clear, I know my Corvette down to the screws, which I have replaced, fuses, light bulb, headlights, antenna, backup light, ecm - have I missed anything?

I still don't have a clue. I have a '72 convertible. Will have to check out someone's coupe when they come back out next spring.

Show me YOUR Corvette and I will show you mine. You do have a Corvette, don't you. Or do you have a GTO? Does a GTO have t-tops?

What have I done to my vette lately. My 72 that I bought last year now has new vacuum system, new wiring, new interior, new brake system, new fuel system, it also has a new crate 502 and M22 4 speed that I put in to take the place of the turbo 400 in there. Next up is new rear suspension and then paint. You do paint your own cars don't you? Before the 72 was an 80, everything new on that one to. That had a 383 in it. Before those were a 94 and 99. And before those was my signature 540 77 vette. That was a chassis off, 700 dynoed HP 540 in it and went 10's at Englishtown. I got tired of that motor and backhalfed the car and added a blower to the motor. Oh and I bought a 67 GTO that I replaced every steel panel on the car except the roof, backhalfed it, put a full cage in it and it now has a 750 HP 540 chevy in it with a 250 shot of nitrous. That was a complete body off resto also. I also can produce pictures for all these cars and of course the 72 and GTO I still have.

I hate getting into pissing matches with people. But maybe if you had worded your comment better with less of a "tone" in it the thread would have went different.

Hopefully that new fan blade didn't take much effort.
