Wiper door solenoid. The electrical connection would normally be energized by the wiper switch. This is an essential part of a complete and functional wiper door system. Do you still have a wiper door, and does it work?
The small vacuum hose at the check valve in the engine compartment goes through the firewall and connects to a "T". One side of the "T" connects to the headlight switch vacuum port closest to the pull **** on the switch. The other side of the "T" connects to the metal port on the electrical connection side of the solenoid.
There is a split plastic vacuum port on the other side of the solenoid. The port at a 90 degree connects to the port closest to the pull **** on the wiper override switch.
Thanks need to do some searching in the dash for the t-port the car was a really well done frame off so my gut the t fitting popped off some place
