I had one on a 78'. Covers the rather ugly wiper bay.
Have had screws on mine, but more difficult if/when you have to take it off - leaves, pine needles, etc still get inside, but not in any volume. I changed and used double sided velcro tape. Works great.
I appreciate all the advice. There is only so much time and or money I can invest in my 1977.
we have 2 other original cars a 2016 black stingray lt3 and a 1998 trans am mystic teal owned since new
This car is just for fun and want it to look nice . The originality left before we bought it with an aftermarket gm goodwrench engine.
we have taken off the original exhaust and installed magnaflow dual stainless steel exhaust and a chromed alternator. the seats were rebuilt poorly by the amish so we just bought after market seat covers. We just want the car to look nice its a work in progress and I have gotten some good advice on here.
we stripped the windshield pillar moldings and are leaving them steel color because we like it better then the plasticote someone had brushed on them.
Fixed all the electric and vacuum bugaboos but may not try to fix the ac or clock. We just want a decent looking cruise car not a show car I appreciate any and all advice
