Default Returning for another round

I have left the forum for a couple years after trading and selling my 77 and then 76 C3. But I now return with a new (to me) 75 w/4sp Manual trans. A true project, but body work, brakes, and engine top are done. Many, many bags of new hardware, chrome, and even a builders manual came with the deal. Solid floors and complete undercoated chassis give me an excellent start. Pic is my avatar, but I added a full size below!

Ya think I’m excited !!!!!!!!

Opps, Admin this should have been in the “General Forum” But I’m Not sure how to move it. Thanks in advance!

Sounds to me like you're stuck on a body style that's hard to resist. They do have some sexy curves...am I allowed to say that these days?
I do believe the same tires are on my car. Can't seem to wear them out!
Please do whatever pics you can on the restoration.

75 with a 4 speed......nice

Way too many automatics when GM started selling these low HP models to those with weak left legs...

I have 2 1975 projects that will be only 1975 on the VIN and registration.

Welcome back

Welcome back!
Might check the wheel fit - looks like 15x7s non Corvette offset. I used a set as rollers and they rubbed brake lines and cables on the back.

Congrats on your "75. With the other C3's you have had I'm guessing you know there is more love for the Chrome cars and not a whole lot of love for the mid year's L48 power plant. I can tell you for a fact that my "75 is a blast to drive and it turns heads everywhere. The Borg Warner 4 speed is smooth as silk and a warmed over L48 has plenty of cruising power if you aren't planning on taking it to the strip. Have fun with your build.

Here is a pic of my 77, and 76 just befor each sale. They were both 350 / 4sp cars and a lot of fun to drive. I have included a pic of the 76 when the clutch came apart and exited the bottom of the bellhousing. Previous owner pumped the 350 to 425 HP and didnt upgrade the stock clutch "caused it looked good" at 93K miles.

Welcome back!
Corvettes....they're like heroin. You're never really cured.
'75 convert, one of my favorites and, with the exception of the first 4 years Corvettes were made, is the rarest convertible.
What is the original color combination?

It’s a coupe just like the other two and red w/ black interior. At least that’s the colors I see. Haven’t researched the registry to determine accurately the combination yet. Gotta rearrange the garage / shop before I can open door fully to read tags. Gonna fight for the wife’s side of garage so I have extra room to work! Wish me luck!
