I was wondering if anybody had any feedback because I want to purchase a pair of mufflers from Classic Chambered and I like loud but not too obnoxious. I'm hoping to get a sound similar to my 327 sidepipe car. These will go on a 68 427 390. I'd like to go full chambered unless someone tells me that they found them to be too much. Anyone running Vette packs? Full chambered? Thank you.

I just put on a set from Allen’s you will love them .not to loud at all
Unless the battery’s in my hearing aids are dead. Only kidding.
They sound great. Allen’s that is a family run company.

Chambered side exhaust: I Have Allen’s 3” OD 2-1/4 ID chambered
Mufflers & Sweet thunder tips put together. Using 2-1/2” mandrel tubing to
Hedman s ceramic hedders. No idea how it will sound, but the object was to eliminate the stock ‘69 reverse flow mufflers. Always preferred the C2 side exhaust sound over the C3 sound. Waiting to get it finished to hear the new sound

I have the 2.5 Vette Pack inserts on my 73 with a 4 speed. I just built a brand new engine and looking into the the fully chambered 3 inch side pipe inserts with the new engine. The Vette Pack inserts sound pretty good on the stock engine (190 hp) but my new engine on the dyno made just short of 500 hp. I've emailed and called Eric and no response yet... I'm hoping to order some soon!
