Default What is this?

I'm trying to fix all my vacuum leaks in my 76' 350 corvette. There are two tubes coming off go this thing, one goes into the cabin and one is I believe a vacuum tube but it is ripped so I have no clue where it goes to. On the front there is a cable connected to the throttle. Does anybody know what it is and where the vacuum tube goes to? Thanks so much.

Thank you for helping me figure out what it was. Now I just have to figure out where the vacuum connects to. I took some better pictures showing what tube I'm talking about and also what the other side looks like. If you guys need any others I can take them. And really it didnt come stock on the 76'? Weird. Since I bought this as a project I've found someone who owned it have done some work on it, just wish I knew what all he did. I have ALOT of random tubes and wires that seem too have no spot to go that are just in the engine bay. I might make another thread because my engine runs great and the timing sounds good but it just won't idle below 1200 well. I plugged all the vacuum to get rid of that variable because I know its got leaks, but it still wont idle well at all and if i put it in gear while staying still the engine stalls out. Sorry too add this in on this thread I just thought you guys might know and I dont wanna keep making threads. Thanks for all the help again.
