Default Rear Quarter Panel Trim (Interior) Question

Has anyone restored these using the 16 piece repair kit? If there is anyone out there I'd like to know what you did to remove the existing inserts from the holes in the panels. I had to drill out the screw heads to remove the panels and trim pieces from the car and the remaining threads are thoroughly rusted into the insert so I need to remove those as well. I assume you would drill these out but before I destroy something I figured I would ask to be certain.

When I tried to drill out the broken part of the screw, it just spun out the insert. After that I just epoxied in the new insert into the panel. JB weld is what I used 10 yrs ago, still holding up fine.

Great, that's what I'll do then, thanks.
