Default 1980 project

I was given a 1980 stingray. The car has a 1994 LT1 motor in it from a camaro. The motor is bare and has no tranny. I also have a 327 chevy from a 63 impala. I was wondering if either onE of these motors will be compatible and which one will be less hastle.

the 327 would be the simplest. I would not waist any money on that LT-1.

an LT1?
installed, hooked up and running?
what is wrong with it?
seems a nice upgrade.
should be able to get a 5 or 6 speed manual for it.
win.

for one the aging electronics and lack of aftermarket support for decent replacement parts makes them questionable at best for reliability. the mechanical side of things they can be very solid but have many design flaws. in its day they where a huge improvement but time marches on and there like the red headed step child of engine choices

Im a bb fan,
But a 327 built right is just a blast of an engine,
Mine was a 327 350 in a modded 66 with 4 speed
