if you did most of this work yourself, suspension will be a breeze. There are some videos showing how to remove the front and most of the rear suspension, have a look at them.
Nice work and thanks for sharing the pictures. I agree, this forum is a great resource for those that are willing to spend some time reading. Your work is inspirational and staying with it for 15 years is commendable. I am just one year into my 71 restoration and sometimes I feel quite overwhelmed. All I can do is eat the elephant one bite at a time. But it is good to see someone who comes out the other side with a sweet ride. Cheers.

If I can ask, what color is the exterior now? The lighting sort of makes it black, and then others look brownish???
Have fun, guessin the kids are teens? Maybe a "prom car" for them?
The exterior is a black cherry color. The car was painted before I purchased it so I don't have details on the exact color. I don't mind the color but when I finally get around to having it repainted I am going with black.

Ahh, from just the few pictures, the paint looks great! Of course, everyone wishes GM continued to paint them BLACK! Me too!
YOu referenced this as what you called a "Resto Mod". Perhaps better termed "Modern Resto".....? Keeping the factory body, interior etc., all with the modern updates, for reliability and comfort.
