Default Digital Dash

If one was going to put a digital dash in a late C-3 what brand would be a good choice? Is the Intelitronics a good choice? They seem to be a lot lower priced than some of the other brands. Just window shopping at the moment.

I purchased the Intellitronix digital dash and their GPS module for the speedo. I have not installed it but I was impressed with their customer support. I ordered the wrong color for the display. They took my unit back with no questions asked and sent the correct unit.

I had questions about the GPS location and how I wanted to set the dash up - no problem.

I found them very easy to deal with.

I hope this helps a little!

Are you running the GPS module for the speedometer? If not how is yours controlling the speedometer?

I purchased the same set for my 80 on Ebay but it was refurbished..... Looked brand new, came with the lifetime warranty and saved a boatload of cash.

Have you installed this already? How did the install go? Are you happy with it?

It will be going in this spring. The boards look great(like new) came with instructions and I am looking forward to seeing them light up.

I have read several reviews of INTELLITRONIX digital gauge lights burning out within a few months. Even with a lifetime warranty I am not sure this is a job I would want to do more than once.

The gauges do look awesome though.

Got my Intellitronix kit in the mail today. Looks like it should be a fairly easy install. Thinking it's going to look good after install. Just need the motivation to start on it.

Cool pleases keep us updated. Would really like to get some feedback from people that have had installed for some time. Like I said the reviews weren't great. Then again with reviews you typically hear about the negative more than the positive. Especially when you have high priced competition.

How long have you had this installed and how much do you drive the car? Would like to hear how they hold up over time.

Any updates on this? Just purchased a set in blue and wanted to know how everyone is doing with theirs.

I have them in my car, I had a damaged printed circuit so I wired their harness to a plug I cut out of another car and and the match to my car so I can remove the gauges easily. If your circuit board is good it should be a much simpler install for you.
