I was blinking & scratching reading the paper this morning and I see that there's a Tesla in orbit. No s**t.
And while the topic of completely unbelievable things is fresh a little further on in the paper I discovered that the governor of New York actually does have one single, solitary redeeming feature - a '75 'vette. Go figure. That's probably why there isn't a tax on them. Oh, and nevermind all the corruption - that's normal here.
There was a recent episode of Chasing Classic Cars in which he brought one of the cars used by FDR when he was governor in for some restoration. Interesting.
He used it to drive across the new Kosciuszko (gesundheit) and Tappan Zee bridges. Less interesting.

Interesting to hear of the Kosciuszko Bridge. No doubt named after the American Thaddeus Kosciuszko who migrated to Australia back in the early 1800s and after whom the highest mountain in the state of New South Wales was named. Six degrees of separation and all that.
Broccoli Head Cuomo destroyed my planned into retirement 10 year real estate appraiser career by getting rid of all my hard-earned clients and replacing them with his middle men buddies (Appraisal Management Companies) taking half of my income.

Indeed. It seems Andrew Thaddeus Bonaventure Kosciuszko got around. Quite the handle - had to be somebody special if a name that hard to spell is applied to so many things!
Not so sure what to make of this guy Elon Musk, modern day Howard Hughes?
Has the money to throw away on this adventure but has a car company that would fold without taxpayer handouts. Actually a lot of it was our money. Space X gets billions in government contracts and tax subsidies.

Yea breightbart is a totally honorable source of information. Can you say 'fake news" or "communist propaganda"
Musk is a multi-billionaire who has more toys than any one person deserves. By sending his car to the asteroid belt all he accomplished, other than stroking his own ego, is to add to the space garbage that is polluting our solar system. Anyone on the various Vette, Chevelle, Mustang, MOPAR, etc forums would have gladly given him scrap value for that roadster, I know I would have in a heartbeat. What car guy in their right mind would send a 9 second production vehicle worth a cool quarter million to it's grave without giving it a second thought. Some of the 1%ers are true D-bags. End of rant.

Not only the highest mountain in New South Wales, but the highest mountain in Australia.
