torque converter cover
im reassembling my 75 corvette with a383 crate engine...for some reason the torque converter cover 3 holes line up to the transmission. the right side bolt hole does line up with the trans bellhousing...automatic.
is there a difference in different years.?...i have a 72 auto trans with a zz4 and that one lines up just right.
i installed the starter on the 383 and it lines up fine too..
the only difference in the original engines from the late model engines is the one piece rear main seal.
i dont think that is the issue though.
