69 speedo gear
I have a 69 427 3 x 2 with the original Muncie four-speed. Sometime during the restoration the driven gear on the speedo cable got lost I have the original 3:36 diff- Which color gear goes in this cable Thanks for the help

how many teeth on the drive gear, 7 or 8?
what is the diameter of your rear tires?
for a 7 tooth drive gear and a 27" tire and a 3:36 rear the formula is 8*3.36*747/1001=18 tooth driven gear
for a 8 tooth drive gear and a 27" tire and a 3:36 rear the formula is 8*3.36*747/1001=20 tooth driven gear
