Default Vent lines at tank

I am not using a vent line or return line on my car. I have removed those 2 lines. I have the tank out right now and just want to cap the 2 fittings. What is recommended to cap them.

I would use a rubber cap like you would see on a carb vacuum port and probably put a clamp on to make sure it stays there.

I am a newb here and don't know all of the configurations of the C3, but my '68 has the return port on top of the tank and it would provide for endless worry to use a rubber cap to plug that. Are some returns plumbed through the bottom of the tank and accessible w/o pulling it?

You will need a vented gas cap if you cap off the vent line.

I do not know of a return line in the bottom.
