Default Trying to figure out the engine compartment wiring

Hey guys, I’m in the middle of and engine bay resto, that lead into an AC replacement, that again led into some interior work.. I’m currently attempting to replace the engine wiring and I’m trying to decipher some of Bubba’s work. I’m sure more questions will come after this one on my journey. It’s a ‘74, MSD 6AL box was installed and I plan On reinstalling it, and I’m putting in a vintage air AC. I just Need some assistance identifying certain wires and if the part is needed or necessary. I have DR rebuilds diagram but am having trouble identifying what certain things actually look like and if they are correct. Thanks!

How many of these junction blocks are in the engine compartment? I have 2. And have some wires running from there to the dash harness.

I found the appropriate wires to replace these, but how do I remove Them from the housing to replace them?

Default Hi again.

Originally your '74 had only one junction box.

That is the 'override relay connection', pull the TAB back and lift off the relay.

The part your holding looks like the circuit breaker for the power windows but the PO seems to have extra wires connected to it.

Is there a specific way to exchange the wires into that relay with out splicing them? The harness I have Just has free hanging wires to be placed inside that relay.

Ok I have the one you pointed out on the side of the firewall near the brake booster and the one that goes on the fender well. So the one on the firewall goes to the powder window.

Thank you for the pics of the AIM. I’ve been browsing in it today
