I'm taking off a set of Cooper Cobra's so I should be happy with the Mastercraft. The Cobra's are still perfect but they're 11 years old so its time to go.
I live in a rural area of Texas, and I run Mastercraft tires on my Z71 Truck. It is a great all weather tire, and it does offer excellent handling in every road condition that I have encountered, however, they are a 4 ply tire and prone to damage.i have ruined many of them and also encountered many flats. Though I have never had one come apart, it would not be my first choice for my Vette.
Don't know what size you are looking for but the 255/60/15 RWL are $134 and the reviews are favorable. I will be changing my BFG this year and these seem appealing.

I almost went with them but being the tight-wad that I am I bought the Mastercraft. I believe the Mickey Thomsons are part of Cooper Tire company too. I like that they are made in the USA.
I've had Mastercrafts on mine for about three years when it was new to me. They have very good grip on curvy roads. No problem with flat spotting after sitting in the garage over winter. As with all tires I believe, handling gets "spooky" when the driven wheels loose traction--say a blacktop road with light rain after a dry spell. The wife had them put on before giving it to me. I likely would have chosen the same as they'll be changed due to age far before wearing out. I've had BF Goodrich Radial T/As on other cars and like them but they didn't seem worth the money in this case.
