No I am not going with a rear bumper I plan on leaving it alone for a cleaner look.
I am in the process of making a new grill for it out of 316 Stainless Tube 3/8 diameter.

Hi J. As usual, your car is just wicked! Question on the front bumper... Is that a chrome wrap, that new brush on chrome finish or an original made to fit. Inquiring minds wanna know.

Thanks for the kind words.... both of you.
That is a chrome wrap. LOL I have an original bumper that I am playing with. Sooooo if I can get it too fit good and mount it up more pictures to follow.
I've been away for work from the shop so not much time to do G jobs. but I have a few I'm presently working on.
*Machining new wheel adapters to take my wheels to a true "Knock Off" status.
*Reworking the front bumper
*Fabricating up the grill
*Custom machining parts for Rescue Rogers lol I just made a set of 6061 rear subframe plates with B16 studs. got bored so they will be going back into the Bridgeport for some custom engine turning(burnishing)

It was actually real easy to do that way. Don make a great part and the part itself is excellent.....the rest of my car just wasn't lol. Its hard to believe sometimes what hacks are out there.....oh wait,... I now own a custom.hahaha

Your car looks great. I really like the chrome bumpers, much better than the stock ‘76 IMHO. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for all the kind replies. I know its not everyone's cup of tea but hey that's fine.

On a different note after installing the Moon Roofs I brought home the painted T tops. I was going to install my new headliners only to realize that they didn't fit. my T top are single lever and the interior panels are for a 68-77 DOH!!! Really wish I had kept the original 78up interior panels now!!

Also the spoilerish 78-up rear bumper is a big improvement over the 74-77 style. Makes it an easier choice to leave alone.

Everything you have done looks great. That's a tremendous transformation from what you started with. Nice job on the stance and wheel/tire choice.
