Hello - I need some help.
I have some problem with my flasher on my 68 Corvette. When my flasher is in use and I turn my lihgt on stop my flasher.
Does someone can help me with this? The wireing Harness and switches are all new.
do you mean your directional lights stop flashing or your emergency 4 way flasher stops working?
did you contact the person who installed the harness and switch?

turn signal on and headlights stop them? Is your car running and are they a mix of LEDs and incandescent bulbs. Is your battery fully charged? could be power, or ground problem, I'm leaning towards a ground issue. IF the turn signals stay lit but arent flashing it could be the flasher relay as well. A little more specific description is needed
LED lights will not allow a flasher to work correctly, even if you use them in your instrument cluster. You need a solid state flasher with leds. Check your brake lights and front indicator lights for them working and the correct bulb, very important for flasher working correctly. Change flasher first though as it is the easiest check.

Some newer LEDs have the resistor built in so they will give the flasher the resistance/amperage it needs to see to work. I just swapped out my bulbs to LED and my LED flasher is bad out of the box but the original still functioned with them so I left it installed.
thank you - we coud solved the problem it was a ground problem - thank you very much for your support
Good to hear! We did a good job of taking that problem into the weeds with LED lites! Bad grounds do cause strange problems! Do you know where the ground was located?
