Default Brake Help Please

Hello,

I was out for a drive in my 72 yesterday and things were going well for awhile. Then I began to smell burning brake pad material. This would occasionally happen from time to time, but would often go away soon. I gave the car a few firm stops to perhaps free up something that might be stuck then pulled the car over. There was smoke coming from the right rear wheel and the clear coat on the ralley wheel was melted. I let the wheel cool down and drove it home a short way. If I am not mistaken I may have had that caliper replaced at a Corvette shop last year or the year before. He used an Autozone part caliper. As an fyi, the parking brake never worked nor did I ever use it. Should I just purchase two rear calipers and have someone install them or do you think it might need something else as well now. Also would any repair shop know how to repair the brakes or does that require a specialty shop?

Thank you

Just went through my receipts. The caliper was replaced 8/31/2017. He drained the master cylinder replaced with new fluid and bled the brakes.

FWIW: e-brake shoes on that side might be sticking.

That would be my guess. They act like check valves.
