If you look for instructions on this forum to jack up your car, you find conflicting messages on whether to leave the T Tops and doors in / closed or if you open the doors and take the T tops out. So which is it? It can't be both. Thanks!
i have my car 69 since 1973 and have jacked it up all different ways and have never removed the tops or opened the doors.
The only Corvette where I actually saw a chassis twist was a I believe a 1996 where the car was partially parked on a slope and when we tried to reinstall the one piece top there was about a 1/4" gap preventing us from reinstalling the top. Moved the car to level ground and the top fit perfectly.

how long is it going to be jacked up? If you open the doors, they may not close until its on the ground again. if its a few days its not a big deal. Mine are always close on the way up and i inevitably have to open them for something. its not a big deal
