Bubba had been there before.... The connection to battery gauge was only connected to one (not both) of the plug in terminal ends... half the venting connections were not connected or loose... no wire even ran to left speaker that had been replaced once.. generally an amateur job behind the dash before I got to it. Im using speed tape to seal all venting connections to make it air tight.
Replacing or attempting to replace the left dash today and install LED lights that actually dim
Nice job !!!
That is one job that is my list but I'm scared to start
I was too....its not that hard...yet it is. It wasn't as bad as I imagined ...just different.
I did not completely remove the steering column....just pulled it from the shaft so it would lay lower and I have a tilt/tele wheel which I could angle as needed. taking the speedometer cable lose from transmission is what saved me when i put it back together.
After doing it...I assume it's one of those jobs that is always slightly different...never the same no matter how many times you have done it.
Th most intimidating part for me was the left lower panel...yet i took it out swapped parts and had the new one in in one day.... the rest was easy
