Default Easiest way to replace a C3 headlight bulb?

Hey guys!

Title says it all. What would be the easiest way to replace a headlight bulb on a 69 Stingray? I have seen many different threads, but what would be the easiest of all the methods? FYI: I have street parking, and can't jack up the car to get under it.

Pay someone else to do it?

You do not have to jack the car to change a headlight. Raise the offending head light door. Remove the bezel. Remove and replace the bad lamp.

So I got the bezel off, trying to get to the bulb. May need to replace the whole headlamp. But I can't get the headlamp off. What do I do from here?

The headlamp says "sealed bulb". So I'm guessing I can't get into it to replace just the bulbs, and I'll have to replace the entire lamp. But referencing above, again, how to I disconnect the headlamp? I don't know how to get it off.

Yes, sealed means you can't replace the bulb inside. Pull the three prong plug off the headlamp.

I've tried pulling it, but it isn't budging. Any specific way I need to get the plug off?

try rocking it back and forth as you pull on it. it should come apart, and then as mentioned above, take the whole sealed beam to your parts store and match it up with a new one.

It appears you took the headlamp bucket off the springs. You don't need to do that.
Open the headlights manually ( or whatever method you prefer).
Remove the 4 screws that hold the outer headlamp trim bezel.
Remove the three screws that hold the headlamp stainless steel ring on.
Pull the bulb out of the socket (the bucket you have off).
Wiggle the connector and it will eventually come off.
Install the socket on your new headlamp.
Place headlamp into the bucket. There will be index parts on the headlamp that will go into grooves in the bucket to align them.
Install stainless steel retaining ring.
Install outer trim bezel
You can either manually close them or when your done just start your engine and they'll close up on their own.

If you have the '69 headlight washing system you might have to mess with that to get the outer trim bezel off.
