That's a lot of $$$ for a car with that interior. Though not difficult, you'll spend a few $K to get the interior up to spec. I'd wonder what other shortcuts were taken.
I like the general appearance of the outside of the car. As mentioned, the hood does fit poorly. The engine compartment lacks general detailing. The interior is hideous! I wonder what the rest of the underside looks like.
I just don't understand why people don't spend the little extra time it takes to do the job properly when they are going through all the time and expense to build something like this.
I'm building my car to drive, not to show, but the detail will be far beyond what this guy thinks is a show car.
Is it just me this morning, or is the rear mono spring in a weird shape, and the half shafts do not appear level with the ground. Maybe camera angle, but something in the rear suspension just doesn't look right.

Me either. Burlap was the hot lick with the Street Rod crowd a couple of decades ago. Thankfully no longer all though I have seen some real nice examples. If the price was right this one is really not a bad starting point for the road race look.
I believe you are correct. The street rod crowd came up with burlap when that choice in material became popular. Because there were so many weaves and color combinations it was easy to tie it into he color of the car and be different.
Q: What do you call a drummer who broke up with his girlfriend?
If he expects to get that price for a vinyl bumper C3, absolutely everything has to be perfect. The interior has to be immaculate, and there can't be wrinkles in the burlap glued to the door panels.
And there can't be burlap.
A: Homeless!
