Mako Shark
Has anyone every tried doing a Mako Shark exhaust on a C3? I was wondering how it was routed inside of the engine bay to come out the fenders like that. Being I discovered mine is not all original, I was wondering about remaking it into the Shark.....

this article shows the pipes coming off the engine and it's only a plastic model, wasnt easy to find.

Neat Idea. Are you planning on using the 74 for this project? Since they are one off cars, not a lot of technical info.

The mako you posted is the c2 the mako 2 was based on c3,
Both have different versions of out the side exhaust,
I have seen st least one or two builders of mako kits really make the exhaust look gm show car, lots of time hard work and money there.
You might also google corvette summer car, it had what i will call an aftermarket custom version,
To do it will require of course custom made pipes and i would expect something thing to protect the fiberglass where they pass through it,
It a heck of a mod to do on a stock c3,
Need a mako front clip? I have one
