I was pondering about to put a 350 (325hp) into my 1968 corvette (this engine: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hpe-hp291p ), and i was wondering if it will make to much sound if i put a 3inch exhaust system on it with no muffler. Is it even leagal? or is it breaking the sound barrier? JK, the limit is 95 DB or something? am i allowed to use the exhaust system?

You certainly don’t need a 3 inch system at that hp level. A nice 2.5 inch mandrel bent system will be better, sound better and be easier to fit. A 3 inch system would be louder, but you certainly don’t need it.
