Wiper Switch Panel-Which one is correct
I now have two wiper switch center panels. One has raised letters for the controls and the other has clear windows.
Which is correct for a 1972?

My 72 looks like the one without the plastic windows which I believe is 73 onwards but maybe they switched late 72???

My May 72 does not have the windows.
Sometimes I think people are trying to get away with something when they advertise the ones with the windows as 72-76 because I see it ALL the time.

I like the idea of the illuminated windows.
The one without matches the one in my '68 but I had hoped GM would have made improvements in 5 years.
Since there is no light socket in the wiring loom for the wiper switch I agree that the one without windows is the correct one.
Thanks for the responses.
