!980 Corvette Tail Light Issues
So Ive been trying to figure out what is wrong with my right brake light. The brake light works fine until I put the front headlights on. The second the front headlights pop up the right brake light decides to stop working. Not to sure what the problem could be,

Sounds to me like you have a ground issue. You should take all grounds off for front and rear lights and clean the eye and frame and reconnect grounds before trouble shooting. The rear brake ligt could be finding a ground thru the front headlight ground and when they come on it disappears. Power is funny how it will find paths to ground and these cars have many quirks

I had numerous tail light gremlins in my '80. Started by cleaning and checking all grounds- common ground on rear driver frame point, ground wire on each socket, even replaced sockets... eventually I made my way into the wire loom for the rear lights and found a corroded connection. Resolving that finally solved my issues.
