Guys I have a good friend of mine who bought a car just like this off the show room floor. She sold it a couple years later. She really like this one so far it checks out.
I am a little concerned on the price as its a later Vette. This seems high but in line with NADA and others..
She is not in it to resell just wants a fun car to drive occasionally.
In General, it looks very well kept. You need to either read and follow the sticky thread on buying your first Corvette or bring someone knowledgeable on checking for rust and checking the condition of the hatch frame. They are somewhat easy to damage and hard to find parts for it.
The tires are almost certainly old. I think it has been some time since these were available. I’d ask for the date code and then ask for them to be replaced as part of the deal.
The wipers look misajusted.
Again, make sure someone knowledgeable looks it over. Price is in line with what I’d expect from a dealer: high but not crazy.
Edit: just read that you’d be doing this sight unseen. There are a number of Forum members in MA. Post a request in the regional section and see if you can find a local, knowledgeable person to check it out.

I understad, just make sure that they are knowledgeable not only on C3 Corvettes (vital) but also Crossfire injection. The nickname “misfire injection” should give you pause. It’s a one year only system that, when working properly, makes for a great cruising car. The knowledge to service and repair the system is specialized to say the least.
I would think that if Ron is the Ron from Ron's Corvette restoration out of Fitchburg he should be able to tell you what it's worth and what it needs. It may be a coincidence but there is an 82 collector edition on his web site under recently sold that had 26K miles on it. If it is the same car he knows what he sold it for.

Yes it is... Phones been messed up today so the call would not go thru. I will try Tommorow
Appears the vin numbers are different, 10136 vs 16397(Ron's). Ron's Auto did work on my friend's 64 and the result outstanding. You chose a reputable place to contact.
