They probably do it so they can post drivel like this on their favorite Internet forum; "hey I smoked a C3 Corvette this morning!"

In reality, EVERYONE passes me. I like to drive at the posted highway speed limit......I enjoy the scenery, I don't really enjoy keeping an eye out for LEO's. I'm never in a hurry to get anywhere. My life is better that way. Less stress.

AMEN to that!!

So now I know there are at least TWO of us like that!

Driving the posted limit on the interstate insures that we will always be in "the pocket"...that wonderful area with NO traffic located between the wolf packs coming up on you, and the wolf packs that have passed.

Default Got Passed by a Garbage Truck!

I was driving in the right lane at the freeway speed limit. I see in my rear view mirror a garbage truck closing on me. He passes me on the left. As they pass, the guy riding shotgun rolls down his window and began waving his arm in a scooping motion signaling me to step it up. I maintained my speed but thought the scenario was funny.

Tom, this is the funniest reply yet!
Nothing says "Let's go racing" like a 5 ton garbage truck
I just can't recall Jan & Dean or the Beach Boys singing about one.....

Ya sure?

I was cruisin in my Stingray late one night
when a 5 ton garbage truck pulled up on the right
He rolled down the window of his smelly old rig
And motioned me to floor my fiberglass pig

I said no thanks, I just wanna cruise
He said too bad meester you'd probably lose
Cause thees truck is faster than your pobre caro
I said, just don't skip my house, cause trash day's tomorrow

There are a few more cars chasing me when I am driving my corvette's but I pay more attention to others around me while driving either of my corvettes.

The world is full of different people and many A*****, There are always people willing to drive quicker and faster than me and being close to Chicago that is at least half the drivers out there. Kind of humble driving 20 over on the expressway and being one of the slow cars.
