Has anyone had any experience with installing Gardner Exhaust systems? If so, how did it go; I.E. was it pretty much identical to original? Did it bolt on pretty easily without making modifications?
Thanks for the feedback. Any recommendations for alternatives? I contacted a local shop that fabricates systems for classics and customs (Kinny's in Watauga near Hurst) and they claim they can make a system that is "identical" to original. Have you heard of them?

An exhaust system that costs half as much loses the same amount of points, just sayin.

Nope, never heard of them.
IIRC Jim Anderson and Gary Bosselman were working on an "original" exhaust system. You may want to contact them though the NCRS.
