Default Vendor Selection

Greetings, New to the forums. My father picked up a '75 Vette as his retirement project recently that needs quite a bit of attention. I will be helping him to get it back on the road over the next few months. I'm starting to work on the parts list for him. What are some of the best vendors for body parts to start with.

Thanks

I don't think best is the best approach as they all pretty much sell the same thing. I tend to go with who has what I need in stock.

Pick a vendor that is close to where you live to keep shipping cost at a min or watch here on the form for supporting vendors who offer discounts to CF members.

Ecklers is pretty good if you are looking for a neckless.

What type of "body parts"? Fiberglass? Hardware? Interior?

Any of the supporting venders are a good start. Look at the list on the right side of this page. In no particular order:
Corvette Central
Wilcox
Zip
Paragon
Corvette America
Some have catalogs, which you'll want to get. Also buy the Assembly Manual for your year.
To name just a few.
Most carry the same stuff. Difference is price, speed of delivery, basic customer service.

Have fun.

So many big name vendors have been slipping, old owners sell out and or retire, in one form or another and dont care what their company does,
check out the transaction section of the forum,

Me, ebay would be my go to, i can shop for best part at best price with best shipping and ebay forces them not to dick around with shipping or other bs....

In addition to the assembly manual get the GM service manual for 75. Both are worth every dime. I bought the 77 service manual used on eBay.
