Default wire help 72 454

Folks, a member sent me a wire diagram for my 72, but i have two parts
I cannot find in diagram, they are about 4 inches to the left of windshild
motor, and they have a dark blue and tan wire on them that exit rite
at the wiper motor, they were cut so I have no idea what to do with them, the two little units I am taking about look like some sort of voltage relay, so the two wires plug into these units, then go towards the wiper
motor then 'cut' so please any advise? Thanks Mike.

Any chance for a picture?

I'm not picturing anything like what you're describing so I'm thinking in the wrong location or it's an aftermarket add-on ?

Default 72 schemtic attached

There is a dark blue and yellow wire shown on 72 wiper motor circuit not used, If you look at 72 wiring diagram you will see they go nowhere.

Thanks, ok I will tape them off, but what is the function of the two small (relay like) unit that are 5 inches to the driver side of the wiper motor?

Since the car is a 71 (orther thread) perhaps you're looking at the two relays that were part of the TCS system in 71 (72 was a different critter all together)
