NO response from the seller. I agree with the others that this must be a scam
listing.
Almost every other listing has multiple points of contact for sellers, including phone, email, and the private emails thru the listing. This one only has private email thru the listing....

Do it! Take the red pill, and see how deep the rabbit hole goes!

Unless you redacted something that is verifiable and legitimate, I'm convinced this is 104% scam. It would sound more plausible if One-Eyed ***** had left a treasure map to where the car is hidden in a cave.

No redactions. I was suspicious early on just from the listed price. The wording in the listing was odd as well and the grammar is not the best. I’m sure now that this is a scam. I’m tempted to tell “Roger”’ that I want to buy the car and see what’s next. (I’m sure he’ll want money wired to the third party handling the “sale” since he is currently out of the country. I’ve seen this before on Craigslist, but not on Auto Trader.

Well if you want to play cat and mouse with that seller, try this; tell him to ship the car to you. Once you verify it's what he says it is, you will then send him a Western Union payment.

This is is no less ridiculous than what the seller is trying to pull.

According to the seller's reply...……"the car is crated and ready to go". CRATED?? What is it, a 1/18 scale die cast car, or a go-kart with a Corvette body on it??

so conclusion, this is a scam ad.

and giggling about the folks that state that this is a fairly priced NOM big block.

and I really like the word "tribute" and the discussion so much that one could even wonder if it will begin a new controversy that will supplant the
dreaded "numbers matching" debate. I can vision the lawsuits now.....

Run don't walk away from this! Even if it was free you still would probably end up getting screwed over. Imagine him or his "third party' with your bank info. and other personal info?

ioo

i agree 100%. I’m out. I’m not even going to trifle with this person any more. I’m sure the next step would be to gather my personal info, bank info, credit card for shipping/down payment etc.. it’s amazing to me how “dark the web” can be. Thanks to all for the input here!
