Default 1969 427 t0224lr 19$717071-value?

I have a 1969 427 3963512 engine with 3904899 heads. It's missing the trip-power set up and exhaust manifolds. The engine is clean, freshly rebuilt and barely run. (the guy totaled the car on it's maiden voyage) What's something like that worth? It doesn't fit any car in my collection so I'm thinking of selling. Thanks.

You need to be in Parts for Sale / Wanted, with a price

Yes, you're right, thanks. I don't know a price, that's the problem.

What he is saying is that this is the wrong sub-forum. Ask over in general. It will also help if you have some pictures and list options like A/C, ps, pb, pw. How much rust do the frame and birdcage have, etc.

Edit: And when you have a known asking price, post it in the parts forum. This is for entire cars.

What they are telling you is you are in the Cars For Sale area. If you had an asking price, you should post in Parts For Sale. However, it looks like you are asking a “what’s it worth?” question, so I will move your thread to the General discussion area. I also edited your title.

Do not sell there. When you figure out what you want for an asking price, start a thread in the Parts For Sale section.

Wouldn't this be sweet in my 69, especially since my 454 was sabotaged,

Likelly you are too far away and will want too much for me,

The bigget demand is the numbers people who want the engine their car was born with so thats one car then people who have to use a correct but not born with engine after that its worth what a 427 goes for, on a stand running helps over telling the buyer "it ran great til the wreck" whch is a gamble and matter of trust for the buyer
