Default Unique parts on 1968 Big Block

Hello, new to Corvette Forum. Can anyone help me, what parts are unique to 1968 Corvette 427/435? I think so of the unique parts are: "4 Core Radiator", Larger "Sway Bars". Does anyone know the diameter of the Front and Rear Sway Bars? Are there any other unique parts? Thanks, Al

if you have a copy of the AIM and open it up to the RPO L36 you can see everything the GM used to convert a base engine car to a 427 car. then the section RPO L71 you will see everything that was unique to that engine option.

If you're asking what was different on 68 435's, verses 67 or 69 435's, not a whole lot. The 67 used a different intake and throttle linkage, and 69 used a different throttle cable. Obviously the engine suffix codes changed, and there were a few different block and head casting numbers used. The part numbers for things like the alternator and distributor also changed, but the parts themselves remained basically the same.

All 68's used a one year only core support, but 68 427's used the same radiator as 67 427's. The same front and rear sway bars were used with big blocks in most years. If I remember correctly, a 15/16" bar was usually used in front, and a 9/16" bar was used on the rear.
