i purchased my first C3, 1975 corvette stingray. I just got it back from the shop and when I turn my lights on only the driver side rear light is on, break lights works fine and the right tail light comes on when the driver side tail light is off. I can’t find any videos or answers on this online and since I check this forum, I decided it was time I sign up. Thank you in advance, everyone.
Check the bulb in the left rear. It's a dual element bulb and one element might be burned out.
Congratulations on the 75.
would you happen to have an image?
I’ve got a few small things to tackle on it. Front headlights don’t go up at the same time, I want to keep the original radio but need to figure out what’s going on and the battery dies if left off for too long (newer battery at that). Thank you very much, I’m very happy with it!
I was able to fix the tail light issue where one wasn’t turning on. My new issue is when I turn on my Right turn signal, it doesn’t come on and my left tail light goes off. I don’t know much about electrical so Im not entirely sure what to do.. was thinking of taking it to a shop.
No. No image. Twist the socket on the rear of the light and it will come out. Push down and turn until the bulb comes out.

Ok, first off,, did all these lights work correctly when you took it to the "shop", in June, and if they did, what did you have the shop do? Depending on how you answer, you may or may not want to deal with that shop again, or take it back, and have them fix what they did, that caused your lighting issue to show up after they messed with it,,,, otherwise, it's hard to guess your problems,,,,,

my buddy work on it for me but he didnt touch any of the electrical, he mostly worked on the body. It must’ve been something wrong when I bought it and didn’t notice. All that was touched was us switching the bulbs nothing else.

Hi and Welcome!
Many times the tail light socket goes bad and causes odd electrical problems.
With the sockets removed from your Corvette get a length of wire and attach one end to a good ground.
Touch the other end of the wire to the BRASS part and post back the results.
For the headlight vacuum system go here and test each part one at a time.
so ive messes around with the tail lights, here’s what is happening:
When head lights are on, the tail lights comes on just fine. When I turn on the right turn signal, it doesn’t blink, the left tail light shuts off. Also, weirdly enough both front lights below head lights blink like hazards (this happens when headlights are off, I believe)
i will try what youve suggested! I’m still very new to any mechanical stuff, this is my first project.
also, what do you suggest to use as a good ground?

Any part of the frame is a good ground location.
Clean the rust away and attach your test ground wire with an alligator clip or something similar.
On the side that is OFF touch the test ground wire to the BRASS and see if it works.
Found 2 of these which are attached to the front headlights, the have black wiring which I’ve been told is a grounding or a power part. I’m wondering if this has anything to do with my light issue. Any ideas?

Those connect to the 'headlight warning' switch.
When you pull the headlight switch the red square on the dash goes on until the headlights are UP and locked.
i was hoping that would fix the issue that I still haven’t been able to fix with my tail lights. All the grounds I found are in place. I did find another part in the rear that may have something to do with it or I may need a new turn signal internal switch
I took a break and tried to fix my horn which I’m gonna work on some and also my radio.
does anyone know what this is? Does it connect to one of the tail lights or does it need to be grounded? I believe it may be the solution to my tail light issue.
Is that on the left side? That might go to the factory alarm horn? I don't know if '75's had such a horn or where it is located though; the '72 has one back there on that side.

yes, it’s in the rear driver side. I was hoping it would have something to do with the tail lights. Looks like I’ll just have to take it into a shop because I’ve checked all the grounds, I’ve even replaced the turn signal cancel cam, so there must be some sort of resistance in the wiring and I’m not skilled enough to get into that
